Ruby Nightfall

Ruby Beach is located in Olympic National Park, Oregon. It was long after sunset when I arrived at the beach. A very low tide allowed to enter sections of the beach which are normally flooded. A low setting of the tripod combined with a wide angle lens enabled this shot. A graduated ND filter helped to balance the brightness of the evening sky and the much darker beach.
