Cappadocia

Shortly after a light snowfall, Cappadocia seemed to hold its breath.
The rocks, sculpted by centuries of wind and time, stood firm as the afternoon light slowly began to fade.

On this occasion, I used the 12 mm lens from @brightin.star, a focal length that I love for close-ups, as it allows me to exaggerate distances and let the landscape breathe.

They say that beneath these formations lie entire cities carved into the rock, shelters that for centuries protected those who
called this impossible place home. Perhaps that is why Cappadocia conveys something so ancient and yet so alive at the same time.

Just before sunset, with cold hands and a calm mind, everything fell into place for a moment.
