Adelaide

This image is part of my ongoing series inspired by the work of Alphonse Mucha. His flowing lines, floral ornamentation, and the dreamy femininity of Art Nouveau have been a constant source of inspiration for my portraiture over the past few years, and this shoot was no exception.

The concept draws from the tradition of harvest festivals — a woman of the fields, adorned with flowers, holding the last bloom of summer. I wanted to capture that sense of fleeting beauty: the wind in her hair, the golden wheat surrounding her, a single flower held close to her heart.

Shot entirely in natural light in an open wheat field.
