Thanks to everyone who submitted their baby images for our first critique of 2021! It's been a wild last few months with Lee being back stateside with a newborn of his own and finally becoming a dad. Because it has been so long since our last critique, we decided to combine this latest baby critique with our last critique with E-Commerce / Hero advertising shots. Hopefully you don't mind the variety in photos.
Congratulations to Alexandre Marques for his wonderful image! Alexandre, please contact Lee Morris directly after picking your free tutorial from the Fstoppers Store.
If you are interested in submitting to a future Critique the Community Live, head over the contest page or you can submit to our current critique featuring Your Most Profitable Images Since Covid19.
Photo critiques are back! Show us your best photographs of babies.
For the last 5 months, I've been back in the states waiting on my son to arrive. Nolan Morris (in the cover photo at 2 weeks old) is now 2 months old and I need to do another photo session with him but I need some inspiration. He's still unable to sit up on his own which makes posing him quite difficult. I'd love to see what professional baby photographers are capable of.
Each photographer is allowed to upload 3 different images. Make sure to give a few details in the description so that we can talk about how the photo was planned and lit during the video critique. The highest-rated image and one random image will win a free tutorial from the Fstoppers Store.

So which is the winner photo? Is it so hard to publish the first three photos here? I listened to to video for a while, tried to locate the winner. But could not find any hint.
Edit: Found it. Go to "selected" under "content submission" and it is one of the few.
Can't understand why this one wins. It is very kitschy.
No, it's under "Highest Rated".
The images which are being talked about in the video are "under selected".
