If you want to submit to the next contest, the theme is "On-Location Flash" photography and you can enter up to 3 images.  This Critique the Community will run from now until the end of February 2025.

For our final contest of 2025, we want to see your favorite images that you captured this year. Please remember to add details in the description of each image to let us know how it was conceived, shot, lit, edited, and anything else the viewer may find interesting.

Yay! The new contest has broke!
What a wonderful set of images that have already been uploaded, in just a day!
I'm not envying Lee and Patrick to select their 10 favs! Good Luck All!

For the macro bugs images critique starting at 19:37, I would have appreciated if the reviewer bothered to read the description I provided. All the bugs are real, took hours of observation, waiting, and setup and nothing is photoshopped. Not sure what do the reviewers mean by "fishy". The images with the nymph and spider are taken on separate days with different light setups. Cheers

Hey Teresa... I totally get it. When I first started posting on here it was frustrating to look at the quality of others compared to what I was doing. But of course with time and focus things got better. You can do it too. Just keep shooting and learning. Good luck.
