The San Rafael swell in southern Utah contains many treasures. If you can bear the heat and nearly run out of water, if you can stand the horseflies and no-seeums that constantly attack you'll be just fine. And it is all worth it when you literally walk into a rainbow of colors and textures that could be the rising sun..the stone sky.
