The wetlands behind my home offers a potpourri of flowers, wild grasses, and marine plants. The beautiful beaksedge matures in mid summer. I photographed this image using a long telephoto lens and a wide aperture to create a mini dreamscape by using selective focus. The green foliage and fading sunlight enhanced the mood.
