A mixed passenger/goods train on a little country branch line is given the signal to proceed, back in the days when steam was king. So, emitting a huge cloud of steam it starts its journey.
This image was scanned off a 35mm Ektachrome. Unfortunately I kept no details of exposure but it would have been taken with a Canon film camera of the time with special reference to the placement of the sun.
