Long Time, No Post

Hey gang,

I have not been very active on here recently. A couple reasons. One I've been busy, which is a good thing. And two, IDK if it's just me, but I can't stand what they've done to this website. It's glitchy. Things don't seem to work as well for me. And it's weird. But I digress.

Also, since going full time as a professional real estate/architectural/interiors photographer, I have not taken any new personal photos in months! I had a feeling this might happen. But, I did want to share some of my recent work. All of these are from unfinished projects that I have not been able to share yet. I recently photographed a restaurant for the architecture firm that designed it, and two really nice properties for a real estate agent. These are just a few from those shoots.

Most, but not all, of these were shot with a 35mm tilt shift lens. Which is new to me and my first tilt shift! What a learning experience that was and still is.

Anyways, just wanted to share a little bit of what I have been up to. It's been so long since I've posted or commented or anything on here. Any feedback is welcomed. And if you are interested at all in any more information about how these were shot and edited let me know, and I'd be happy to explain.

Nice work, Kyle! You've definitely found your niche. These are gorgeous! It's nice to hear from you again. I knew you had gone that path and often wondered how things are going for you! Glad you're enjoying it too.

Hi Kyle, nice to hear from you and catch up with your success.
I can certainly see how it might be difficult to find time to take personal pics when you’re shooting professionally throughout the day.
it’s great to see that you still value the group, and know that we’re all rooting for you.

Thanks Alan! I would also like to say...Ever since I've been in this group, you have always encouraged people to comment and engage with others. I'm not as active on social media as I once was nor am I here, but I have always kept that in mind. Especially with other local photographers. I try to be more mindful and leave comments on things I really like and just engage with them. Even on things not photography related. Just letting people know I think they're doing a great job and I enjoy what they are doing. No matter what it is.

I know encouraging comments, even when slightly critical, have greatly improved my abilities and willingness to pursue something in a lot genres. And I just want to acknowledge you for always encouraging us to engage with others. Also, just want to say, you are killing it with some of your recent photos. I probably haven't seen all of your recent work, but the recent stuff that has come across my timeline has been really cool!

Thanks so much for your kind comments Kyle. It’s always heartwarming to hear that the group have played their part in the success of another.
Thanks for your kind words on my work also - the main thing is that I’m still finding it fun.

Excellent work. Btw, all the glitches/spam seems to have been worked out.

Thanks! I know some of the glitches seem to have been worked out. I just don't like how the website is working now. Whenever I view my portfolio it's completely random. Images I've posted to places (contests and groups) show up and look like they are in my portfolio but aren't. I just don't like the user experience as much with whatever they've done.

Funny, it's the same as it always been for me.
